CARING & CURING THE SICK is a noble thing . INSPIRING & IGNITING young minds & moulding them to a good shape is also EQUALLY NOBLE.When one helps to reduce the the PRESENT suffering and ailment of the individuals of a society , the other helps to reduce the suffering & ailments of a society by guiding the FUTURE individuals. SO WHEN ONE HOLDS PRESENT THE OTHER THE FUTURE.

It's hard to compare possibly the two most noble jobs on earth! People relate to the two in totally different ways as well. My husband is a doctor (internal medicine) and I am a teacher (technology applications) but one of HIS main tasks is teaching new doctors, medical students and educating his patients. That is perhaps the most important part of his job aside from treating grave illness. My job is extremely rewarding and I don't take lightly the opportunity to empower each one of my students. I love it! If you are trying to decide a personal career option, you may think of the patience and perseverance each of the two, doctor and teacher require from the individual and put that information up against your own personality traits. I couldn't do what my husband does. It is too scientific and static for me. He couldn't do what I do. He doesn't have the patience and empathy that I do. So, I pray I've answered your very excellent question well!!

its a very difficult question.....a teacher teaches ethics, morality etc...without such values a doctor wouldnt be anything much....

and a doctor performs the actions of virtues....they are both noble in their own ways....

its not really the profession thats nobel - its the thoughts and intentions behind your actions that makes something noble...

you should take up a career in a field you have an inclination for.....

Both are noble, but money wise a Dr, teachers are under paid and over worked with no support from parents or society. Basically they are babysitters, for out of control kids. No I'm not a teacher, I'm a retired factory worker.

Well, there's a Nobel prize for medicine but not for teaching.

I assume you mean "noble". I think there are elements of nobility to both professions, but most people actually go into them for material reasons.

I respect both, yet probably a instructor. instructors tutor medical doctors a thanks to grow to be medical doctors, instructors help us study a thanks to verify and write and all that different relaxing stuff, and maximum instructors care about making a achievable on their pupil's lives. instructors at the on the spot are not in it for the money. Seeing little ones, or adults in college, finally comprehend something because I took the time to teach them and taught them the right way-that is what education is all about.

Teacher-I think. Doctors wouldn't know what to do if they didn't have a teacher to teach them.
