Why can the U.S stay out of other countries business?

Soon you'll see World War 3.

Isn't the issue they have with Iraq enough?

I would stay away from Koreans, they look pretty fierce, and now what they are doing?

Is not that I am trying to look "stupid", is the reality we are living, and THIS could be possible either way. North Korea could attack first, any country, and the rest of the country will be ****** again.

It would be foolish of the USA to tangle with North Korea.

At the moment, both sides are just posturing. But the USA really stands to lose a lot of of face, at the very least, and possibly even its very existence.

I would say that Kim Il Jong is intellectually, motivationally and ideologically capable of launching a pre-emptive strike on the USA, and I think it would be a real possibility. The USA certainly has a great deal more to lose than North Korea.

The bible story it most reminds me of is David and Goliath.

What you have to remember is that while Bush refuses to tackle these issues diplomatically, he is playing a very high risk game with millions of lives. Would you trust him with your life? That's what it comes down to.

Nothing is inevitable, but if the USA continues to behave as it does then it probably has it coming to them, and North Korea may well be the one to step up & do it. And I think that the USA, or what would be left of it, would only have itself to blame.

I think the US has no plans of waging war against north Koreans. they are trying to use whatever means possible to communicate with the tyrant at Pyongyang and solve it in diplomatic way. Now, if the Pyongyang still insists with her right to fire missile, regardless of what other country says, it is morally and ethically right for the U.S. to protect her citizens in her territory and abroad using whatever means necessary. North Korea has socialism for an ideology that will not think twice to use force illegally just to assert its will. and if will be left unchecked, not only U.S. but the whole region of east and southeast Asia will be in jeopardy. But as possible north Korea must return to six party talk or else the war will be inevitable. If the U.S will go to war, that means her allies, specially those with mutual defense treaty with the U.S will be drag along. I hope not because my country, the Philippines, is not only an staunch ally of the U.S but also has a mutual defense treaty since ever.

The USA is not trying to get in war with anyone honey. They are trying to stay out of war by letting NK's allies handle this situation. The whole problem is that NK wants to start a war by firing weapons at the USA. I do believe we have the right to defend the USA citizens from the hatred and malice of the world. Let me explain it to you like this: If a group of men came to your house, with a loaded gun, with an intention of doing you bodily harm would you negotiate? I believe to save my children and family I would do all that was in my power to protect. As for Iraq, if people from other countries would keep their butts home the problem would be solved. But no, they have to carry out their countries agendas. Oh, and one more thing, people around the world have a serious hatred for the USA. They always have and always will. If you live in the USA they hate you too. If a terrorist could behead you and your family he would praise Allah.

The only thing N Korea can attack is local countries, they would have to carry a nuke to what ever they want to attack. There people are starving I mean starving. The country can't feed themselves and are spending millions and millions on nukes. The U.S. is trying to make sure N Korea won't be able to start a war nuclear or standard war.

I was in South Korea for a year. What people don't understand is that North Korea has always been at war. They do not want peace. They are not happy unless they are shooting something at someone. The US trys to protect those that needed it.

You should read a bit of history. England decided to stay out of Hitler's way and mind their own business. It cost them about 15 million men and untold resources. Giving in to a "bully" is not the way to go. How would you feel if one of those missles with a nuclear warhead landed on your city?
