i have long hairs but it tangles fast.I can't cut it.I should only wear a plat everywhere i go?Can you all please give some suggestions

I know where you're coming from! I had long hair for most of my life. It was fine so it tangled awful everytime I left it loose. I always wore my hair up. I used to get ideas from magazines, sometimes they would walk you through a certain style. One that I did frequently was take my hair into a low ponytail. Then grab small sections ( about an inch ) and twist. Once it was twisted I secured the end with a bobby pin close to the rubber band of my pony. I would continue until it was all up. It's okay if it looks a little messy it's supposed to. Another one is french braid your hair starting at the nape of your neck instead of at the top. Once you get towards the top secure it with a pin. You can either pin all the excess hair or let the ends hang loose. Either way looks cool. Also try doing different parts. You can do a zig zag or waves and then pull the rest into a pony or pigtails.

Do something good for you and something good for someone else. Donate 10 inches of your hair to "Locks of Love", the organization that makes wigs for children with cancer. Your hair stylist will know how to go about doing it. You'll do something generous and meaningfull and at the same time get a more managable length that may not tangle so easily.

I am Cherokee Indian and Mulatto and I was so blessed with my pretty, tangly, long hair, lol, know what I mean? Mine is almost to my waist. LOL! carry around some detangler spray in your purse. Then when it tangles just spray a little on and comb it through. Good as new!
