John Freida makes an awesome line of products that you put in your hair while still in the shower to make your hair either curly or straight depending on the formula. He also makes Hair Gloss, which I swear by, the straw-haired girl that I am...
Also, Pantene just came out with a new line that is made exclusively for adding lots and lots of shine to hair.
But if you're looking to save some money, egg whites work really well, as does mayonaise, and just washing your hair with cold water.
