This is very unhealthy - your body needs calories to function. When you do not eat your body goes into shock and may actually produce more fat. I would consider eating 5 small meals a day. Also stop eating after 7pm. Your metabolism slows down dramatically in the evening. Avoid eating junk food.

Also exercise regularly. Depending on your age, I would take up running or jogging. Try to jog 3 times a week and gradually increase your distance. I would recommend 45 minutes/3x a week at a comfortable pace for starters. Make sure you stretch before and after to minimize soreness.

Do everything in moderation and eventually you will lose weight in a healthy way.

I'm no expert but if you are trying to loose weight muscle mass is actually better for you to have. Making your muscles work burn more fat than not having muscle. I guess I don't understand what it is you are trying to do. No going that long without eating is really bad.

f you are doing atkins there are plenty of foods you can eat. I'm taking it slow but I've lost 31 lbs in the past 6 months.

You must be kidding! You can not burn the muscle mass and fats by going on fast for 5 days. You will die of hunger. This is not the way to burn the fat. Consult a good doctor and act according to his suggestions.

you need to eat, three meals a day, lots of exercise start running that will help so much im talking miles not just a few hurdred yards. you could ride a bike, NOT eating is NOT the way to loss weight or loss muscle your body will go into survival mode and store anything you eat. so if you want to loss weight do as directed! plz for your sake

you havent eaten for 5 days??? OMG. do you wanna die. i think that is just so much. if that is your way of getting a tight body, maybe you are goin far too much. do not punish your body. i suggest you go to a professional trainer or a dietician that can give you advise on proper exercise and food intake to achieve the body that you like. what is a good body if you will be sick or worst,

Hey fellow starving person! I'm doing Atkins and am so sick of meat and cheese I haven't eaten for 2 days! 'Ya know after awhile you get use to that gnawing feeling in your stomache and its not so bad - lol

I belive starving wont help you att all becouse when you eat go back (but) ?? if you eat in morning litte and lunch lite and night if you get hungry eat apple or orenge but apple very good for every body 1 or 2 aday heple you loss lot wait and you need to work out like running walking every day

sorry but you wont burn muscle mass or fat if you dont eat actually you will gain fat. what you need to do is exercise hard for more then a hour and you will burn muscle mass and fat

You are asking for trouble. Perhaps you want to be like Teri Shivo... turn into a vegetable in the hospital as a result of malnutrition...

Not a good idea to fast for long periods. When you start to eat again your body will store the fat, quicker than if you were eating regular meals.
