Visiting Pattaya, there are a few places you can go to. There is the Mini Siam with replicas of the major landmarks in thailand in miniature. There is the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and cultural show. Pattaya Elephant Camp and Show. Sri Racha Tiger Farm. Pattaya Water Park. Pattaya Underwater World. Romance of Three Kingdom Park. Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. And of course the Tiffany Show or the Alcazar Show.
As for spa, there are plenty with different types of program for you to choose. So take a walk and you should be able to across one in town. And the rates are not that high as in Bangkok anyway.

Pattaya is not really a family destination despite what the toursit literature says. Along the front in the touristy part it is all beer and bar girls once you get back from that it is just a rather ordinary Thai town.
Phuket is a much better chioce if you are looking for a wide variety of activities.
Most of the hotels have a spa

well, your question raises a question - Why Pattaya? The only really good reason to go to Pattaya is the bars.. 1000s of bars.. it is probably one of the worst beaches in Thailand, nearly as congested as Bkk.. there are so many better choices of beach etc.. try hua hin - lots of spas there as well..
