people have depression when the weather is bad...that's late fall or winter...in sprind and summer the chanse to have a depression is smaller.Some people like to have depressions..it's strange but is true...sometimes we need a depression that will help us renew our emotiones and forces..that's why people like fall...

I saw this on a TV show last week-How strange. Anyway, many people who suffer from depression actually do better in the fall season. At least if you live where there are definate seasons. Summer for some reason causes an increase in depression, psychotic episodes and suicides. The down side is that winter can throw people into another depression. Seasonal affective disorder they call it. Not just people who are diagnosed with depression either. Lack of light, sunshine, etc.. Fall is my favorite season (upstate NY) I love it. Perfect weather, temps, pretty as a picture.

If you are asking what I think- I use a sunlite lamp in every season but summer,unless it clouds up of course. I use it for a half hour while having tea in the morning. The light brings your spirits up...the effects of the light may trigger some of the chemicals in your to react in a good way.
