Kill the human

2006-07-09 00:45:24 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

To save sharks, or any other species, requires a shift in human thinking that views nature only as a cheap throw-away resource.

It needs us to change from an unsustainable industrial growth model and consumerism without responsibility, to realising that we need healthy eco-systems for our own well-being.
Sharks fill many important niches in the ocean eco-systems from basking shark plankton feeders, to top preadators and scavengers.
but I don't expect any change in general awareness anytime soon; it is not in the interest of the media or those in power to educate us to the realities of a finite planet; and most people don't want to think about the limits of growth.

First, unless the government realizes that there full of **** and that unless they make it illegal to kill sertain species in the world, We will one day be seft with nothing but other useless humans to wath and study. Every day numbers of shasrks die of disease and from being hunted. Sharks are only triing to servive. The worse part of it is, is that no one is triing to help them. No one cares that the sharks are being killed every day. So unless they take intrest, the sharks will continue to die untill all the species are endangered.
