To keep us away from the look (mostly lusty look) on girls or women who dressed up in such a manner.

In some families fathers either tolerates or just keeps quiet of their daughter's dressing styles, tight tops which obviously exposes the breasts and abdomen short and tight bottoms which really shows the thighs etc., which really any one at one sight can have a lust full look..

is it possible to keep us away from the visual adultery as Jesus Says in the Bible if any one looks at a girl with a lustfull look he already committed adultery....?

I do feel badly for the men who try very hard to avoid having lustful thoughts, when they're bombarded with scantily clad women. It definitely isn't fair. You know, I don't think that it really is possible, but God knows your heart, and He is merciful and just. He knows that you don't intend on having thoughts like that, but it isn't 22 AD anymore. Heck, it isn't 1952 anymore - the sexual revolution has pervaded North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and Africa. Nowadays, if you want to avoid seeing all that skin, you need to move to the Yukon! You're doing your best. If it helps any, imagine the pretty girl in front of you with the flu. She just finished retching and has bleary eyes and messy hair. Or pretend she just did something really gross. Use your imagination to make her seem disgusting, instead of what your imagination normally would do if you didn't try to stop it. :o)

yes, and that's the ultimate goal... mind over matter... we're not animals, we have the right to make a choice.
and the best description of what I said, is also endorsed by the Bible.... " you can't keep the birds from flying over your head, but you can keep them from building a nest in there." and that's it!
Think of it they are all your sister. Naughty, some, but sisters. You can do it.
I think if you keep your eyes on Jesus, everything else fades away, after all Jesus first freed us from the power of sin, that's why we can choose.
And then... you know the other thing, where you resist the devil and he flees from you.

When I separate the person from who they are, i.e. a body part, that person has an incredible bottom, or they are hot, I am separating the person from who they are to how they appear/look. I am also idealizing who they are based on the objectification of their body, i.e., because that person is hot, I would like to get to know them, or somehow they are appealing emotionally mentally because they are hot. As I am objectifying, lust shows itself in fantasy. What would I like, what would I like to do with and to them. So I would say when the idealized picture of this person is replaced with reality, IE., who they really are. You can accept and be willing to see past faults, issues, problems because Love carries no jealousy, love doesn't judge, love don't do anything for self gratitude, love gives unconditionally, love is trust, love is respect, love is truth!

I think it is in the eyes of the beholder. The secret is in our mental and emotional habit. I could not accept that Bible verse before about adultery, but now I can. Only a habit can kill another habit. Practice makes perfect.

It can be a challenge, but you CAN learn to control your thoughts. The truly tough part is continually deciding to control your thoughts. That's why it says to flee from sexual temptation. If you make that choice, you don't have to keep fighting it.

Permitting struggle instead of running from it means there are moments of indulging temptation in your mind. That is a losing battle. You turn your weakness into strength by not permitting ANY thought to linger, but run from it.

A man who is determined not to even permit himself temptation is a man who will never fall to it, so long as that determination stands.

It doesn't matter what people wear these days.

"For a person who doesn't even consider doing wrong, a degree of progress has already occurred; for a person who feels the urge but battles it, progress is in the process of realization; for a person who indulges in the thought and dreams up ways of satisfying it, the evil still exists in all its strength. In the first, the work has been done, in the last, it hasn't begun. But Divine Justice takes into account all these nuances when assessing individual responsibility for acts and thoughts."

If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us for our sins and save us from all unrighteousness, Paul was right, all have sinned and come short o the glory of God. we do the best we can and trust the Blood o Jesus the cover those sins. the ones I really feel sorry or are the ones that think they never do anything wrong.

Yes, it is possible. Malice is just in some people's mind! People just need to think that dressing in such manner is just some sort of art and fashion and expression of one's self. People just need to admire, not think of lusty things!

Father's who are Christ-like will tell their daughter's that this dressing styles is unacceptable in my house, therefore I respect you so will other males. Girls dress like that are seeking attention from males because their own father are not giving their daughter love & respect.
