Some people say that probability of life beggining on earth by coincidence is one in a million and so it is not possible.
But the number of stars and planets in the universe is infinite (or maybe billions X billions). So the probability is very very high or even infinite.

Life did happen spontaneously. It happened very slowly, from small chemical reactions which replicate amino acid chains, to what we consider life now.

It is not known how life originated. It could have been just chance or it could be that there is something inherent in nature that facilitates (or necessitates) complexity which in turn facilitates (or necessitates) that life / sentience arises.
The number of stars in the observable universe is in the order of 10^22 but the observable universe may only be a minuscule part of a greater multiverse.
These are some of the big questions that science tries to answer - stay tuned.

Nothing ever comes from nothing. You only really have two options on what to believe about the beginning of life. Either matter is eternal & has always existed, or there was something or someone who existed before it did & created it.

Not one in a million.Spontaneous life has never been observed.The chance of it happening just once is so remote it can not be calculated.

life does not just happen it is created, it evolves, and changes.
Life on earth just didn't start one day. this was over millions of years.
