Haha I actually wrote my college application essay about that, which came from a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. How did you come to think of it?

milk was discovered when goats and sheep were domesticated in the Middle East between 9000 and 8000 BC. Meat and hides were first priority until they discovered that the reared were mammals like humans. So dairying started by doing the same thing as breastfeeding. They observed how breastfeeding was done then did it with the goats and sheeps.(of course using hands not mouth)

hmmmm, looks kinda similar to the milk from a lactating woman.... So they prob figured it was an alternate and more available form of nutrition. Don't cows only lactate when they have calves though, so they were taking milk from the baby calf. I supposed if they keep milking them, they continue to lactate though. And yes, I did have a bumper sticker that says "human milk for human babies" and "Eat at Mom's" but that probably should be discussed in the Mommy section, eh?

properly, if cows are not milked, they might die. that's my wager that by ability of watching that as quickly as cows did not have calfs to drink their milk, they began dying as a thank you to repair the difficulty, farmers began taking the milk out of cows to dodge them from dying. As for looking out it became fit for human intake, properly some adventurous man or woman became probable dared into ingesting the stuff.
