first of all do not ask us a stupid question like that, and no one stones there kids for being disobedient. the bible says train up a child while they are young and when they get old they should not depart from it. you spare the rod you will spoil the child but no where in the bible does it say kill your kids if they are not listening to you.....

It is true in those days that is what they do. Even in certain parts of the world if you steal they chop off your hands. Talk nonsense and they cut off your tongue. You know stuff like that. But today the world have come up with a different approached. Something call Law. We have LAW to punish bad behaviour. It's something like hand phone. We can either use the big big hp that we used those days or you can use the latest. Why use the big black phone when you have nice small stylish phone with better functions. But till today many people I know still tells me that the big black phone that we used those days has the best clarity and till today no hp is better then that. But I still don't see anyone using it. The world changes and we need to change for the better. Try talking to your child and there is also many other solutions. Children will be children and they are naughty sometimes. All of us are and if our parents were to follow strictly then we will not be able to see today. Because I'll probably be stone to death.

I'm not completely sure about this, but I would call the cops on anyone if I saw them stoning someone. You could go to prison and have your child taken away never to be seen again.
He doesn't listen, because you don't control him. And you don't control someone by being brutally violent. That'll just make him more out of control.
You need some serious help and probably medication too. You need to go see a psychologist and get some much needed therapy. Then you need to see an expert in parenting.
Maybe you should watch Dr. Phil. Alot of people don't like him because he's so straight forward, but he's a father and a psychologist. He's got two sons who are succesfull in life. I trust his advice because of how his parenting ended up, not his degree or celebrity status.

I am not religious but my guess would be the pointy ones with sharp protrusions about the size of your fist. If you want the child to really suffer decrease the size and choose smoother ones so that the torment lasts longer. Throwing very hard is best.
If this fails sell the child into slavery. I think the bible allows for that sort of thing as well.
Oh...... and bless you - I guess.
Personally I would force them to watch American TV sit-coms.

Wow! It sure is a great thing that Jesus came to set us free!
If you have actually read the Bible to learn about God, you have learned that the ways God set before His people of Israel were indeed harsh, strict and unbending. That was His design, to set apart His people from the ways of the other races upon the earth at the time.
I don't fully understand everything God does; none of us do. I do know this however.
God sent His only Son, Jesus, to offer Himself up as a living sacrifice, to buy my freedom upon that cross and I gladly choose that sacrifice.
Jesus brought us a new covenant, a new plan, a new design for life on this earth and I accept it.

You are living in the 21st century and not "20 BC" - you have scientifically proven methods like Child psychology to treat your unruly child with - you don't have to seek for answers in a book that was put together by a bunch of 1st century hypocrites who has ruined Jesus and the wise words he spread

Well, you should really stone anyone any more. "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" etc. BTW it doesn't say(in this verse) for the parent to have a hand in the stoning.
Other than that I would say good fist-sized pieces of chert or tennis ball sized pieces of granite. Granite would have to be a bit smaller for weight considerations.

christian or not, the best stones to use come from a river bed. if you are using a sling to hurl them at your kids, river rocks work just fine. find some that are slightly smaller than a golf ball. the rocks have a fairly smoothe and rounded surface that makes them aerodynamically correct. [hint] using a wrist rocket, a hand-held slingshot, will greatly improve accuracy. ....have fun!

The Bible is full of parables. God does give us the gift of common sense.
Try to think outside the box a little, Sweetie.

Generally sharp pointy ones. Granite works well. Stream washed round ones take longer, but will work. Limestone is pretty worthless.
And remember, you have to aim for the head. It is hard to inflict enough damage to the rest of the body to kill them.
Glad to be of service.
