first of all i would like to tell u enamel is the hardest substance of body with almost 99% inorganic constituents that means boling water cannot harm enamel but it can harm ur oral soft tissues like gums ,tongue etc just like boiling water cant dissolve bone so theres no harm with boiling water nd ice ya but acids nd other chemical substances can harm so dont worry about enamel coz thats the hardest substance of body !

Extremes of temperature in either direction will crack enamel. Putting one right after the other only makes this more likely to occur.

Does the boiling water at least have some tea or coffee in it?
