I have a good friend who is in her thirties and is looking for a boyfriend. She has been asking me to set up dates for her witth my male friends. I have done so for about 10 times but each time the guys are not interested in her. I thing i have realised is that : she seems to be overfriendly in ways and i suspect that could be the way she turn off guys. My friend is average looking, quite slim and with a degree. Can U explain why guys are not interested in her ? I have tried asking those male friends & they just told me she is not suitable..

Hi, I think it's a lot harder these days to find a decent man. I have a lot of friends my age (33) who are still single are are looking for a relationship. I myself was single up until 2 years ago. I even joined an on-line dating site hoping to meet someone that way. Why don't you suggest that your friend does that, at least you know that everyone (or most people) on there are looking for the same thing! It can work, a friend of mine met a bloke on site about a year & a half ago & they now have a child together. I think that's a bit quick moving but they're happy so it can work! You're friend isn't desperate she just wants to be in a relationship. I wish her luck.

In what kinds of ways is she being overfriendly? Men are very picky people, unfortunately, so it could be anything. Some men are just looking for a good time, not a relationship. I need more information.

I dun know how your friend looks so I can't comment on any physical appearance. By your description, if she is overfriendly in certain ways, you need to hint to her not too be too friendly.

Maybe you can consider getting your friend to join SDU to open up her social life. Guys won't tell you why your friend is not suitable for them.

Average looking and with a degree? she ought to know not to spread herself too thin because that would repel her friends. Tell her that and you'll be doing her the greatest favor.
