You would be a desk jockey.
Unless times have changed, I never saw anyone above E-6 pull any kind of patrol or MP duties. Other than CID or other specialized investigative units.

You would pretty much sign papers all day, and give briefings. I've been in 3 and a half years, and I've never seen an MP officer on patrol.

I would try and be a drill sergant or Military Police out. Never paperwork although with paper work comes experience. It all depends if you an office person or hands on training. Personally I would have became a seal or green beraia however you spell it. Basically you can do what you want. Pick the training you are most interested in. Its simple

As an officer in any branch you will be behind a desk more than the average enlisted man.
As a officer you will serve as a Platoon Leader, Company Commander, and passably on some type of Training Team. other than that you will have staff (desk) jobs.
As a LT you will have the opportunity to do law enforcement with your soldiers (I did)

Officers are managers primarily. So yes, a desk jockey. Lots and lots and LOTS of reports, paperwork and other administrative type stuff.

Depends, though you would spend more time on paperwork and less time in the field!
