Noone. There will not be another country that will fulfill the same role in the world the USA does. There could be several that could do a part of what the USA does, but not everything.

China and i think that day is coming closer and i think it will be in the next 10 years or maybe less.This is why America needs to fight like hell to keep the name superpower although america aint the only SUPERpower and america doesnt lead the world

It all depends on whether there is an energy solution. The position of "world leader" normally comes around after a large area war. There's not many other ways besides political ideology change to get troops into regions.

Once the US finally collapses under her massive debts, there will be no leader. There will be consensus amongst the wealthier nations, but no single nation will dictate policy the way the US does.
