Well now you would have to have access to important information that some fairly intelligent people with tons of resources can't get on their own. If that's the case, make contact with a US consulate/emabassy & they'll take care of you. Of course they are going to be very suspicious of someone contacting them rather than the other way around.

You won't. If you will turn traitor agasint your own country, then you would certainly turn traitor against any other country.
