You need a vehicle with third row seating in place. See below for more information.

The 2006 Kia Sedona would be a great fit for you. It seats 7 and the gas mileage is 18 city / 25 highway mpg. That's not too bad for a minivan. It starts at 24K.

The Acura MDX is a great looking SUV that seats 7. It is a lot pricier (it starts at $38K), but it is more stylish than the Sedona. The mileage is slightly less than that of the Sedona at 17 city /23 highway mpg

I hope this helps. Good luck in your search.

I have a Suzuki XL-7. It has the third row seat and at 6'5" I am able to sit in the third row. I wouldn't want to for several hours though. But for young children especially it works very well. Mine is a 4x4 which is handy. I bought mine about this time last year and just turned over 40K miles. Yes I drive a lot:>) So far I have not spent a dime except for oil changes, no warranty work either. I traded a 3/4 ton Dodge conversion van and have not been disappointed. It took some getting used to the fact there is less room for luggage etc. but other than that no problem at all. I have to keep mileage log for reimbursement and have been averaging 23mpg through all types of driving, and that is with it almost always heavily loaded. I took a chance because of the standard features and the excellent warranty, so far I am ready to buy another one in the future unless something drastic happens. There are lots of choices out there I hope you find one that makes you as happy as mine has made me.

Try the Ford Freestyle. I don't mean Freestar , that's a minivan. I said Freestyle. It's a crossover vehicle. Seats 7, EPA rating 20/27 for front wheel drive , but also available in all wheel drive, Looks like a Volvo Wagon On Steroids. Has quadruple five-star crash test ratings. It comes standard with ; automatic [CVT] trans, air, power widows-locks-mirrors-seat-CD player-traction control,v6. Really! Priced in the low to mid 20's, for a new 06 and there's BIG incentives {rebates-low financing-+$1000 gas card} Really...go drive one.

2005 or 2006 odyssey can seat up to 8 people. Gets great mileage. It has 6 cyl. then switches down to 3 cyl. when your cruising or not acclerating, saves on gas mileage.
