The best way is to eat healthy and exercise. There is no magic pill or cream that will take those pounds away.

I have found that eating 6 small, balanced meals a day plus a 30 minute cardio workout with additional strength training for toning really helps take off the pounds.

Watch out though for the dreaded "plateau" where you hit a certain weight and can't bring it down anymore. You'll probably just need to vary your exercise routine to get over it.

You do not want to starve yourself for one.
Eat 6-8 "small" meals a day, and make sure 50 to 60% of it is from protein.
And for cheap exercise, try, jogging, fast walking, cycling (steal your neighbors bike, if you have to), get a big brick, or any thing that is 6" and block shaped and do step aerobics on it, jump rope, punch a pillow, just jump up and down and go nuts.
Exercise is not expensive, it is free. Good Luck.

Exercise daily at least 15 minutes nonstop, drink plenty of water (64 ounces daily or more), decrease your daily calorie intake below 2,000 calories a day and decrease the size of your portions. Cut down on foods with high sugar content, such as sodas and candy. Continue to eat most of the foods you currently enjoy but smaller portions. Eat frequent small portion meals and do not skip meals or allow yourself to get extremely hungry and binge. Avoid eating your heavier meals near bedtime.

Whenever you are hungry, go for the veggies. Baby carrots, cherry tomatoes, get some filling friut like apples. Low fat low calorie yogurt has half the calories than low fat cottage cheese, and try a low sodium veggie drink--only 50 calories and counts as 2 servings of veggies! Skip fast foods and treats. Chop the pop and try Crystal Light. Add a nice walk to your day. Make sure you get enough protien and calcium.

the lemonaid diet also known as the mastercleanse look under CuteZone.com I did it for two weeks and lost 20lbs . the 1st day or 2 is the hardest but once you get past that it a breezy you can also buy the book for about 7 $ at book stores its called THE MASTER CLEANSER by Stanley Burroughs it really works but if you have any health problems check with your doctor first

Eat less fats. Walk farther, like when you go shopping, park farther from the place that you're going and take a little time to window shop. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, make two trips instead of one when you do chores. Little things like this add up, and you'll be surprised how easy it is to keep it up. Unlike going to the gym, or taking an excersize class.

A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore
