If you are having to ask about a friendship being over between a student and a teacher, it leads to the question, why? Whatever has caused this friendship to end is probably healthy as I can't think of a reason a friendship would be over otherwise. Not intimate today, but maybe tomorrow would be different! I would put this relationship behind you, mature, move on, make some new friends. The best to you.
