The mom has 12 and the dad has 11 so that makes 23 half siblings plus the 2 siblings
Or add the 15 total children of the mom + 14 total children of the dad= 26 Now minus 1 for the wondering child=25

The total children in this case is 26. That is 29 - 3 that are common to both. The answer is therfore 26-1 that is wondering so he has 25 siblings.....

well you have (15-3) + (14-3) -1 because their total children includes the ones they have had together and it excludes the child wondering so you have
12+11=23-1=22
