My Boy friend is graduating in a few days with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, what type of Job can he get?

Pretty much any local/state police job.... he could also go for the FBI/Secret Service/U.S. Marhals type of Federal stuff, but its nearly impossible with just a BA and no experience.

Federal agencies like the FBI, Marshalls service and even DEA require a couple of years work experience in addition to a degree so he's not ready for them yet; but Border Patrol is one federal agency he could get into (and they are hiring). Also the Dept of Homeland Security is still hiring at the federal level;

But he's probably better off with a local police department (city) or sheriff's department (county). They like new grads and some may even put him through a required training academy.

A police officer, a correctional officer, parole officer, probation officer ( both state and private probation)

A position in a security company, maybe a case manager ( not a guard)

A sales position in a law enforcement supply company

look into probation or parole with your state. also, if he is interested, most county governments are always needing male juvenile probation officers. the juvenile justice system has alot to offer.

your boyfriend needs to decide if he wants to be a 'door kicker' like a regular beat cop, or work in a more office like setting as a probation/parole officer.
