That image is accredited to Margot Knight.
Her work is somewhat strange, but definitely not the most insane work I've ever seen.
Try Gregory Crewsden if you want equally conceptual, but strange work. Maybe Nan Golden or James Natchway if you want some really intense images of the "other side" or war, respectively.

The concept, as I see it, is that the amputee woman is sad because these plastic parts that she sees represent an ideal that she cannot become. Much like society and the media and god and the bible. The use of a nude amputee is supposed to shock the viewer (and also convey helplesness), but this idea has been conveyed about a billion goddamn times. This cheap image just exploits and embarasses everyone involved. It isn't weird, however; it's art.

someone revealed a link to a photo of a weightlifter whose 'anal sphincter' has exploded in the time of a develop and area of his bowel had prolapsed outdoors his bum. i became in marvel (yet surprisingly facinated) for weeks. The Q were given deleted and that i lost the link!
