how much time a day should the overweight human being excercise?.....lemme explain here..when i was young i worked on our farm all by my self, by the time i was 10 years old i could lift over 300 pounds and i was very toned, then due to unfortunate happenings we had to move in town when i was 14 almost 15...then i had no farm to work on, so i lost some muscle mass which was ok, but my mom put me on "the shot", which when i started off i was only 135 pounds at the age of 12 and it was all muscle, but i finally got off of it and went from being 250 to 173 by drinking nothing but lots of water and hardly eating....than the worst thing happened...i got pregnant!, i had the baby but my schedule is completly free for excercise...i am currently around 225....i lately have been more active ever since i had the baby i have been lazy and actually gained and this is wearing me out excercising all day literally and i'm just not dropping weight, its not so much being tired, the pain is unbearable

If you contact me with your email address, I will gladly give you a diet based on Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem (unfortunately, yahoo answer's email system doesn't have enough "characters" to allow me to send the diet through them). You can do it yourself at home. You won't need to measure anything or count calories. It is already proportioned. It involves all food groups and is based on 1250 calories. Very healthy. I have shared it with many askers on yahoo answers. Just click on my avatar.

you're motivated, which is great, just need to pull a few things together and get a game plan....healthy eating (try to avoid the term diet - you set yourself up for failure when you go "on" or "off"), exercise and a healthy active lifestyle.....let's break it down in a simple way
1. doctor - address any health issues, injuries, medications, abilities and limitations to different physical activities
2. realistic expectations - 1-2 pounds per week lost is healthy, more than that and you're also losing fluid and/or muscle, bodyweight doesn't mean much, it's your fitness levels, how you feel and how you feel about yourself....hitting a certain "ideal" bodyweight doesn't mean you're healthy
3. healthy eating - smaller more frequent meals, don't skip breakfast, more about calories later, cutting intake drastically initiates a type of starvation response where the body becomes more efficient at storing what you eat (the start of yoyo dieting)
4. resistance and cardio training, preferably set up by a personal trainer who can address issues specific to you....resistance training strengthens muscles, raises metabolism and muscle uses more energy at rest (when you're not doing anything), cardio burns fat, improves the ability of your heart to deliver oxygenated blood to the working muscles and helps you live longer
5. a trainer and a certified nutritionist can help identify where your sticking points might be, in the long run worth a couple hundred bucks for both
6. a simple formula is this... 1 pound of bodyfat = about 3500 calories......if you can increase activity to burn an extra 250calories/day and change something you eat to reduce 250 calories/day, that equals about 3500 calories/week, or 1 pound of bodyfat.....you can probably reduce 250calories/day just by changing something small, like fruits and veggies for snacks
7. stay motivated by finding fun activities and include the baby in some of those if you can
good luck

Well, sounds like you have had quite the life. I'm only fifteen so do or don't take my word...
Exercise is not always the best way to loose weight, yes it is good but if it makes you feel worn out than its just too much. Exercise should be a good experience, it should make you feel good at the end of the day, not bad and exhausted. If you want to lose weight most of it is in what you eat, you must eat to lose. First of all you must see how much calories you must take in a day to simply stay alive and healthy. This is called your Basal Metabolic Rate, for men it is weight multiplied by 12, for women it is weight multiplied by 11. For you that is 225 x 11 = 2475 cals. per day. About 50% must come from carbohydrates, 25% from proteins, and 25% from fat (yes fat, but watch out, not saturated fats but poly and mono unsaturated). So for you 1240 cals. from carbs., and 620 from both fats and proteins. You also need plenty of water and veggies/fruits (sometimes can be considered part of carbohydrates). Numbers don't have to be exact, its your body you make the numbers yourself, dieting is supposed to be enjoyable. So all you need to do in the foods department is simply take in less calories than needed per day and your fat reserves will start to be used, the burning of fat slowly quickens as it happens over long periods of time. Make sure to get some fats into your diet because about half vitamins are kept in bodily fat reserves. Now for exercise... You simply need to do an enjoyable activity that brings your heart rate up and maintains it. Swimming, biking, jogging, and walking even. Also form life habits such as taking the stairs when possible and if time allows, take the longer rout (that is walking not driving). And have fun doing it and enjoy your weight loss, one last thing put your scales in the cubord, numbers are for accountants! :)

This site has everything you need to know. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) soon surpassing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).
You need to re-learn how to eat. Find out about fastest way to lose weight, slow ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which makes people look a lot fatter (bloated). Learn everything on site below so you can understand how food and exercise affects your body. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not, and you will remain part of the biggest pandemic in all of history. Due to this pandemic, for the first time in 100 years, the children of Americans have a lower life expectancy than their parents. Plus click on "Pure Water" to make sure the water is not hurting you.

Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !
