The cowards are postponing any action until after the election. The don't want to face the wrath of the American voters at the election. Watch what the imbeciles do after they think they are safe.

They are very far apart on positions.

Passing nothing is far better than passing the Senate bill which would ruin our schools, health care and other services.

Until they can pass something good, I'm ok with delay. After November we can put different people in to pass the right sort of bill.

Because its an issue that does not have a right answer to it. We can't solve it without either:

A. Hurting our economy
B. Letting America be flooded with even more immigrants

We might as well merge with Mexico and Canada

I think they are wanting until after the heat dies down thinking us voters will forget. However, I will not forget how my congressmen are voting. I go to the website www.numbersusa.com and keep tract of what is going on. Come November, I will vote against any congressman that wants to let Mexicans invade our country.

Because they want to get maximum number of votes next election, which is inversly proportional to the number of people they make mad.

Republicans don't want reform because their supporters need that cheap labor.

Democrats don't want reform because of their Latino supporters.

So you can expect no meaningful immigration reform in the near future.

I think that they're unwilling to do anything about it because they don't want to be the one blamed when they screw everything up.
