You are not alone. Probably 50% of women or more have stretch marks. The many causes are child birth, losing or gaining weight too quickly and your diet. To prevent any more or the ones you have getting worse, moisture your skin daily and try not to gain or lose weight too rapidly.

I heard that stretch marks really need moisture. I cleared mine by applying petroleum jelly right after I got out of the shower with my moist skin. They didn't go completely but sure cleared. Don't worry about how they came. Everyone has them mine showed up on my breasts 'cause they developed in a very short period of time. I'm also very short and I have little ones behind my knees and is not like I grew a lot...

Yes, lots of people have stretch marks, not all who are overweight. It doesn't mean your fat. You don't need to stop eating and/or chop off your legs. No need to feel threatened as, with America being the fat country it is today, 90% of everyone has or has seen stretch marks.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm 5'2 and at 28 years old I've never once even hit 100 lbs. But I have stretch marks on both lower hips. Not because I'm fat or anything. My butt just decided to catch up with the rest of me over night. But if they are bothering you, you could always try Cocoa butter. I've always heard it reduces them, but never actually tried it myself.

did u slim down? because when someone slim down, there will be water retention which causes stretch marks. try taking less salt and apply strecth mark cream, cocoa butter, etc.
