when you say "talk about nothing" i'm going to assume you mean everyone ELSE. racism is just a sign of a dangerously low level of intelligence; i wouldn't let it bother you. retarded people like that have no place in this modern society of ours. BTW i love the phrase anti-racist but be careful that your desire to eliminate distinctions of race doesn't become a radical anti racism. cuz that would suck (and make you a hypocrite) peace out

Because it's anonymous and posting their opinions leaves them with a comfortable feeling that practically the whole world agrees with them.
An earlier answer hit the nail on the head...if they pronounced their feelings in public...they'd get punched in the mouth.
In other words...it's safe...and manifests an element of fear...like an unsigned letter in your mailbox.

well, freedom of speech is a right we all have.
and i agree with so many answers here.
why don't these people just say what the feel in public?
cause they're chicken, unless they're in a group which happens to be as unintelligent as they are.
ignore - them. or worse yet, love them and show them a different way of life. that'll really f' em up.

its easier for racist people to say whatever they want behind a cartoon avatar. where noone will ever see their face. noone will ever personally ridicule them for their remarks. and, they can go about their lives, in the real world, with noone the wiser of their beliefs, or who they are. truly, the fakest form of truthfulness, and self gratification. a closet racist.
