I absorb most easily from young persons. Tibet seems the obvious place, but I've never been there and would have no idea where or how to search.

If you're looking for lamas in Tibet, you'll be looking a while, because the Chinese have rounded up most if not all of the Lamas and either killed them or imprisoned them. The only Tibetan Buddhist lamas that teach are outside Tibet.

The Dalai Lama has a number of books, tapes, and DVDs out, and if you were truly serious you would start there.
