That's so true. All religions are based on the most irrational methods of glorifying the men who came up with it. It's just plain ridiculous...

First, you are asking far too much from the Muslim people. They can't answer you something they don't know, or more like refuse to know. Their whole life is built around that person. From the day they were born, and ever since after. If you ask them to face the reality of who he was, that will shock them, as it did happen to all those ex-Muslims.
His 9 year old wife! At that time, it was not out of the ordinary for a man to marry a very young girl. Many times, the girls are promised in marriage to others, mostly cousins, before even their birth at times. The higher problem with his marriage is not just the age is who was the bride to be. He was her uncle, and in Islam it is forbidden to marry her, but as with many situations, he did find a way to go around the rules, and break them, just him. He was married to more the 4 wives at a time, and that is forbidden, he married his daughter in law, a big NO NO. He adopted one of his slaves, no adoption permitted in Islam. and many more. Illiterate!! I don't think so. This was only used to strength his preaching, and he was far from idiot. He did accomplish much, caused much pain to others, and even his own people.
You will not get any answer from anyone of them, at least a truthful one. Watch and see, this question is going to be considered and attack on Islam, the Quran and all Muslims. Just wait for them!

Sheri From Pakistan, it isn't right to try and slam another religion because you felt yours was being slammed on iteself.
It isn't right. I think people are better off reading The Bible themself than believing everything everyone says on these things.
But in response to the question, I don't exactly know as much as I'd like about the Muslim religion, however, to the many people who believe in it, I agree with a former answerer that people born into those times were different. So at least in response to the marrying a nine year old, I'm sure things were very different then. There are people today who marry at ages around those ages, and it probably doesn't seem so weird to them.

O.K. He married a nine year old who was fully matured by than. U say he is a Pedophile. Is he a Phedophile when he married a 40 yr old when he was 25? Was he Phedophile when all his other wives were either widows or divorce n needed protection? How many men will marry a woman to protect her? To protect her from financial problems n protect her from being killed?
Post Trinity…I’ll answer you. forbiddance to marry more than 4 females came after he was married to all his wives. Which daughter-in-law did he marry? Where in Islam do u find that adoption is forbidden?
“And treat with kindness your parents and relatives and orphans and those in need” (2:83)
“---Spend of your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for wayfarer---“ (2:117)
“—Say: Whatever you spend that is good is for parents and relatives and orphans and those in want” (2:117)
“And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive.” (76:8)
“Have you seen the one who denies the Day of Judgment? Then such is the one who repulse the orphan, (with harshness) and urges not the feeding of the poor” (107: 1-3)
oh. n Mohammad wasnt Hazrat Aisha's uncle. Hazrat Abu Bakr wasn't Mohammad's brother.
When did he steal and kill. When he went to Madina, the Makkans came to war with him. I'd like to know from where u got this information that he stole n killed? Pls tell me n I will answer.
He was completely Illeterate. So that proves that he didn't make up the Quran dosn't it? N if the Quran was a divine revelation and it vouches for Mohammad being a prophet, y shouldn't I beleive him to be the prophet?
post. antensenthnony... When did he ask Zeid to divorce his wife? From where did u get this information? I can give u a VERIFIED information
Hazrat Zainab bint Jahsh was an early convert of Islam. In 3.A.H, she was married to Zaid bin Haris, the freed slave of the Holy Prophet. She herself and the people of her family were against that marriage becasue he was a freed slave. But he insisted since Islam laid down piety as the only critterion for honour and Hazrat Said was an extremly pious man. Because of the insistence of Prophet, Zaid and Zainab were married. But within a year or so, he found it difficult to maintain his marriage n divorced her. AFter the period of waiting was over, the Prophet sent her a proppsal of marriage. Zainab replied that she could not reply without consulting Allah. Meanwhile, the Holy Prophet received the following revellation.
"Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) nwith her---, We rejoined her in marriage to thee---" (33:37)

Well, I don't think Muhammad was a prophet, but most people at that time in history were illiterate and married young girls. I don't know that he was more violent than was common in his time and place. In fact, the status of women improved with the rise of Islam. More could be said on the matter, but I don't think this imprecation of Muhammad is particularly helpful to anyone.

I need to ask a further question in relation to Mohammed's claims to prophethood, (a life that pious Muslims claim should be emulated by everyone) - why did Mohammed tell Zeid that God told him (Zeid) to divorce his (Zeid's) wife and then later, Mohammed married her? That's a bit suspicious to me. And whilst Moses received the Law on Mount Sinai, with God appearing in the sight of all the people in cloud, and fire, and darkness, and storm, where is the witness to who gave Mohammed his book (the quran). And if this book is the perfect 'Word of God' then why does abrogation exist - two verses contradict each other so the later cancels the earlier. Surely as we all know God is perfect so why did He have to change His mind, and why do contradictions exist?

1. Your claims don't cancel Muhammad's prophethood.
2. Your disrespectful comments can't lower our prophet's esteem even an atom weight.
3. Your hatred doesn't prove any wrongness of Islam.
4. Your logics are illogical so don't make any sense.
5. Your lies & falsehood do not demean our prophet.
6. Your efforts & evil thoughts can't do any harm to Islam.
Rather,
Your questions & comments prove your utter ignorance, low intelligence, lack of respect due to uneducation. Unlike you, we are civilized & educated, that's why we do not attack someone like you with street language & vulgar words which would prove our weakness. What we see you are spitting into the air which would eventually return on your face.

The Bible degrades the Prophets of God by vilification:
For a Muslim, many of the claims to be found in the Bible with regard to the prophets of God, and even God himself, are monstrous and preposterous. One is hard pressed to find a single prophet or messenger who was not a drunkard, an idolater, an adulterer, guilty of incest, a liar, and so forth. The Bible practically overflows with such stories from almost every Tom, Dick, and Harry. The messengers of God are even made to be guilty of multiple cases of adultery and worse. Abraham (pbuh) is alleged to be a liar and worse (Genesis 12:13). Noah (pbuh) a drunkard (Genesis 9:21). Lot (pbuh) a drunkard and guilty of incest (Genesis 19:30-38). Solomon (pbuh) a worshipper of idols in his old age (1 Kings 4-9), King David (pbuh) commits adultery with Uriah's wife and then murdered her husband (2 Samuel 11:3-4,15-18), David's son Ammon is guilty of incest and the rape of his half sister (2 Samuel 13:14). Aaron (pbuh) fashions an idol (the golden calf) for the Jews to worship (Exodus 32:1-4), Even God was tempted by satan(Matthew 4:5-8, Luke 4:5-9)? Even attack on the virginity of Marry she was having intercourse with joseph (may God forgive me for this) .
The pedophilic Biblical verses are Numbers 31:17-18 and Numbers 31:35-40. Below, you will see DETAILED HISTORY on these SPECIFIC verses from the Jewish Talmud explaining the pedophilia that took place against the 3-year old slave girls under the direct command of Moses.
While Christians are not obligated to follow the laws of the Talmud in their social lives, but the historical FACTS that exist in the Talmud about the Biblical verses Numbers 31:17-18 and Numbers 31:35-40 below, and how the "BIBLE FOLLOWERS" during those days were mostly pedophiles who literally forced sex on 3-year old girls after Moses' supposed 'Divine' order is clear indication that the Bible condones pedophilia.

Strangely, Christians defend the false portrayal of God and His prophets, yet have the audacity to charge the Prophet Muhammad with falsehood!

Why would you consider Elijah a prophet? he killed kids. Why would you consider Abraham a prophet? he abandoned his son. Why would you consider Moses a prophet? He killed someone out of anger and lead to rape, murder, animal cruelty, slavery, and enviormental damage? Why would you consider david a prophet? he had false wars and cheated on his wives. Why would you say solomon is a prophet? he became a pagan in the end

Read the messages that God sent to mankind through Muhammad- the Holy Quran - and you will know why he is a prophet.
Your accusations of Muhammad stem from inadequate peripheral knowledge of things.

It's easy to say those things, but Jesus protected a prostitute. HE WAS A CRIMINAL, he broke the law, which say that prostitutes should be stoned to death.
Therefore, and according to your point of view, Jesus isn't a prophet either?
