I have just ordered this book. It is free by the way. It breaks Revalation down perfectly. It has actually opened my eyes to some of the things that I was confused about before. If you would like this free book contact me. It is called Revelation Uncovered.

Revelations is the most useless book in the Bible. It was tacked on to the end of the Bible out of fear, because it contains a curse (read the last chapter). There is no reliable interpretation for its visions and it has been used by all sorts of madmen to justify all sorts of things. You would be better off concentrating on the words of Jesus and ignoring the mad rants of the anonymous author of Revelations.

Anybody who claims to understand the ravings of the madman of Patmos is either a nut job or a liar.
It wasn't meant to be understood and should have never been placed in the bible. It has only been used to frighten people.
People will write anything to sell a book, movie, or recording. Even pretend to decipher things that make NO sense at all.
God doesn't need to talk in code and mysteries any more than spirits who talk to John Edwards. If god wants to say something, I think he is capable of making it perfectly clear.

No, nobody has anything of the sort that is even the slightest bit useful. We are still trying to unravel the real meaning hidden in revelation. We know it is based in astrotheological 1st century mysticism, but many of the symbols are still not understood.

If you will accept a female author, I know one of the best books written. Anne Graham Lotz, Billy Graham's daughter, wrote The Vision of His Glory. She uses an inductive method.
