Ok, I had alot of heartburn when I was pregnant. And to tell you the truth, I ate apples. But not any kind. I was teaching English in China when I was pregnant and I found that the apples there did the trick. I would get severe heartburn and after a couple of bites it would be gone. You want the great big chinese apples (and you won't be disappointed, they are the best tasting apples that you ever had!! MMMMM!) anyways....now that I am back in Canada I went on a search for them because, guess what?, Canadian apples don't do the trick. And I found them in a chinese market here in Canada. Really. They were a godsend and when I get pregnant again, I will be stocking up!!!!

Milk helps with heartburn. Don't eat any spicy foods and don't lay down after you ate, try to stay sitting up as long as possible. I also tired tums chews, but I found just a glass of milk helped the best.

Do not eat any spicy foods, citrus, or onions. Take Nexium. Eat lots of bread. Drink lots of water. Canned sodas can help or irritate. Sprite and 7UP help. Perrier or Pelligrino will releive heartburn instantly until you can get antacids.
