I'm sure there are others religious sects, but I think Christians can kick any other religious *** any day of the year like they did at the Crusades. What do you think?

All are merely tools that people use to reach spiritual goals. They are all essential to someone somewhere. Why should the screwdriver win over the hammer or the pliers win over the saw. Each has its place. Of course they can be abused. "Every tool is a weapon if you hold it right."-Ani DiFranco

All religions are just different perspectives on the same thing. A devotee of a religion should strive to apply the teachings into their lives and to strive towards the deeper spiritual goals rather than worry about such illusionary and egocentric concepts such as whether this religions can win over others. This does little to help one achieve any spiritual goals.

And for the Historical Record: The Crusades were a draw. Christians and Muslims agreed to a truce with neither side ever making any ground in winning the conflict. The third crusades basically ended without a winner ever being declared and both sides agreed to the truce and then the armies went their seperate ways. Today the Holy Land that was being fought over is now Israel and Palestine. Israel is a Jewish homeland and Palestine is a nation of Christian & Muslim Palestinians.

Which Crusade? The Crusade of the Muslims taking over Israel & Palestine & Europe. Or the Crusade the Europeans mustered to free those lands & travel routes from Islamic invaders ?

There will be no winner until the idea of "vs." is removed. The One God, the Ultimate Unity, of the universe (and beyond) is like the very center of a wheel. Many spokes lead to it, and at the rim they are quite far apart, but the closer they get to the Center, the closer they get also to each other. Once one has arrived, one finds it's the VERY SAME PLACE no matter which spoke one traversed, and in fact it's no longer discernable, and no longer even matters, down which path one journeyed. The destination we all reach is the same one, and the destination humanity will (or won't) reach will be the same place of One-ness.

Alla-ism? What is that? Is that a name that you made up?

Who would win? The promise of victory is to those who worship their Creator without partners, no worship of men, no worship of statues. No giving of any of God's rights to anyone/anything other then to God.

This is who will win. We were all created with a purpose. And that purpose was that. It has been the purpose from the beginning of creation as was seen with the Prophets & Messengers that were sent such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, Muhammad and those in between and before them.

They all called to true monotheism in its purest form. There are many religions that claim to be monotheistic but their actions show otherwise. I used to be a catholic and I was raised to believe I was monotheistic but the fact of the matter is that it is far from reality when you worship Mary (peace be upon her), saints, a cross, and Jesus (peace be upon him).

So who will win? One who has belief in God Alone and doesn't attribute partners to God will in the end be the successful and this life is a test for the believers as can be seen in the examples of the Prophets of the past who were tortured, harassed and so on for preaching this message. But this is the natural inclination of all of mankind to monotheism - the belief shows in their actions, their good character with themselves and others. No prophet was known for their evil character, but were rather having their character assasinated by those who wished to call away from them.

Thus, the religion that has taught this the best is Islaam, which means submission - submission to the one who Created us all. Every nation received a message. Moses came with a message, Noah came with a Message and God gave those people chance to accept it. Due to their falling into misguidance God out of Hsi Mercy sent more Prophets and Messengers. After Jesus, people still went astray and started worshipping him then. Then God out of his mercy sent the last and final messenger who still called to Monotheism.

Anyone who thinks that they can get victory due to worldly-affairs, such as the crusades, etc... doesn't realize that the one in control is the Creator, not men

Well the christians have most of the powerful nations with all the bombs and stuff. The buddists would't fight. The pagans are too spread out and small in number. The Hindus are also small in number and you have to be born a hindu to be a hindu so they would go pretty quick. And the muslims would blow them selfs up trying to kill everyone else. I would say the christians, but they would feel really bad about it.

Buddhism and Hinduism would nicely be classed as atheistic religions as they have sects that do not believe in God yet reincarnation. yet what an atheist has to assert about religions is as suitable as what a rapist has to assert about womens rights. Their critiques carry no value.

Typical christian. As always, you depend on the strength of arms rather than the strength of argument to "win".

Buddhism is the least violent religion of those you mentioned and is the "winner", if it can be called that.

The spread of religion and dogma has always been and will always be accompanied by wanton violence and murder.
