The Video Format is 720x480. If i would play it on the tv, my movie would only be in the middle and does not take up the whole screen. There is a really wide black border around which should extend the whole screen. Any program that can stretch it fully?

you can do simple things to resolve your problem like

1) widen your screen properties so that the black border goes out of screem

2) change your computer resolution to 640X 480 or 800X 600 from 1024 X768

the resolution you're using is a 3:2 resolution. TVs take resolutions of 4:3 unless they're widescreen. If your TV's widescreen, you should make the resolution 1280 x 720 or 1280 x 768. if possible, use a DVI or VGA connection to connect to the TV. Hope it helps

I use Pinnacle software to make movies. It sizes the final video to fill the entire screen. There are many other software that will work, try Windows XP movie maker, I think it comes free.
