That is a basic tenet of our belief in our Order, American Co-Masonry. Freemasonry in general and our Order in particular, since I can only speak from what I know personally, believe in making this world better. We aid humanity and strive to do that everyday.
I see it in the Shriners in the masculine rite Freemasons, too, of course.
As someone else said, welcome to being a human being, a man or woman should have those feelings awakened in them.

I feel the same way but alot of people take pffense when you try to help because they are a proud person.....and others just don't really care one way or the other...You think it would be an easy thing to do to help some one but some can make it very difficult

Yes I do agree, I have the same exact feeling, but even worse is that I usually get the feeling that I want to help someone, yet I'm unable to do so or don't know how to do so.
I love to help people but I hate being taken advantage of, as in thinking that I'm helping others when in fact they want to use my help for their evil.

Yes
Helping is good even if you are attacked for being helpful. Sometimes helping means exposing the truth, which someone may be trying to hide. Truth is meant to be known, though, and helpfulness is better than darkness. We know that darkness never lasts that long.

Yes, absolutely! There's a feeling of right-ness that comes from serving others that nothing else can compare with. When I feel that, I know I'm doing what I was created to do.

Oh, yes!
The following expresses my philosophy for why I feel this way-
"Happiness comes only when we push our brains and hearts to the farthest reaches of which we are capable.....The purpose of life is to matter, to count, to stand for something, to have it make some difference that we lived at all." (Leo Roston)

Oh yes!
I like to think that most people have at least a little bit of this feeling.
There are some who are born to serve, for them it can become a career.
Many times a little effort on our part can have great results for another.

Yes... I agree with your thoughts. Helping others I believe is one of those good responsiblities that allows us all to grow in life.. Think of what the world would be like if no one helped one another with anything..
