If you had ever had a pet, you'd know that you an animal can be a friend. Pets love us unconditionally. They don't judge us or make fun of us. Can you name any human who is like that?

That was a hilarious answer Jen. I would agree that it's a cultural difference also. Views on what animals are supposed to be used for is based on one's morals and values...how you were brought up. Hey, I get along great with humans, but still love my dog. Different people eat different things....I think it comes down to respecting different cultures and ideas....and that you can love animals, and go out and eat a burger too.

Culteral differences. I bet that if you spent enough time caring for a dog in your home you would love it like a person, even more than most people,. Some cultures prefer birds over dogs and others, fish. It really depends on how you where raised. Spend some worthwhile time with a dog and you'll see why we make them a part of our families.

What?? We are ALL ANIMALS...you are putting humans above everything you should know that there is NO creature better than another on this planet we are all equally alive and we all die we are the same in everyway that counts. I wouldnt be surprised if you are racist too you sound like a plantation owner in the old south talking about black people.

Whatever. You probably rig dog fights in your back yard, don't ya? You're going to try to tell me not to associate with animals. They're more tolerable than people. Especially ones like you who put themselves on a pedestal way above them.

Well I love cats and dogs because they last longer than my hymen did. Lost that when I was 17.

Sez who? What's the point in having a pet if you don't love it? Incidentally, my dog is very well loved, and she's one of the best guard dogs around. Just try coming in my house, she'll tear your head off. We love her, she protects us! I think that's a pretty fair trade.

It is a matter of opinion......! I have the right to have pets and choose to have them. I love my pets and my family. Pets love unconditionally, how many people can say that about the some of the people they know?

Learn to spell. Dogs are better friends than people - they're a lot less judgemental than you seem to be!
