I was actually picking some of the cups and empty bottles at the recording studio where I was today. We all belong to a choir and mostly of them are old, they were nasty, leaving everything behind. This made me feel embarrassed with the people working at the studio, so I had to pick up some of the mess.
I really think that littering is like poison, you can poison a place, streets and entire cities and all these people think, oh that's why they have people getting paid for cleaning this up. Anything gets dirty itself why make it dirtier?

I hate litter more than I love the abscence of litter.
This is a deep hatred.
Is this a sincere question?
I hope so, because I've waited a very long time to explain to someone my complete (and pathological?) hatred of litter.
On second thought, it is more of a general dislike. Actually, I generally dislike litter. Hate is too strong of a word to describe my sentiment toward litter.

It sucks,I get tired of picking up the cans and fast food wrappers thrown in my yard every weekend by teenagers out cruising.I was driving down my street one day when I saw a bag fly out of a car and land in my yard.I picked it up and followed the driver to his home where I presented his proud parents with his bag of empty beer cans.

Oh my gosh, you are my hero! I do, too! Litter is awful. My little sister and I go for walks around our neighborhood and pick it up together. Good for you!
