How do you define "spiritual and moral perfection"? What's perfection to you may be considered ultimately flawed by someone else.

Yes. And, I don't think seeking perfection means you have to believe you will achieve it. Sometimes striving for more than you're capable of takes you further than you imagined.

I'm an agnostic, leaning toward atheism. I state this because I own my spirituality and ethics more than people who believe they're at the mercy of a God who will crush them or send them to hell or deny them heaven. I also state this because spirituality is a big part of my life, even though I don't believe in God the way most people do. Agnostics and atheists can have fulfilling spiritual lives.

Of course! That's what life is about. Seeking all that you can become, both spiritually and morally. Without that there is just no point. To suppose we are as good as we ever will be is just unthinkable. We each have "more" to become.

Only possible through Jesus, and being as it's a life-long walk, I must admit I have a long way to go. Of course, when I get to Heaven then my perfection will be complete.

Even if I were able, I would not be willing, because in perfection is only death.

it is a neverending search and we probably will never reach the endpoint. However, the journey is what counts and what makes it worthwhile to try.
