Cycling as a sport is not acknowledged in the USA as football or baseball but for the French people, I guess you could say it's the equivalent of our Superbowl.
I watch everyday and sometimes twice in the same day. It's amazing what you miss and can pick up and learn the second time around. I think if you are an avid cyclist as myself you will watch daily.

Of course we do! Especially those of us who are active- particularly in cycling! I'm sure the American viewership is less than in Europe because most Americans probably don't have the attention span to donate a few hours to watching it- but I know tons of people who follow the tour every July. I imagine a few less people watch it this year, now that Lance is gone- but that's the same as in all sports when the national favorite retires. I love it and I hate having to go to work and missing the live coverage....

LMAO! is this a shaggy dog tale? This 365 days and intensely last Lance hasnt appeared as on-sort as his previous years contained in the excursion. Contador has actual been much better interesting, as became Cancellara with that descent very last 365 days. It does type of annoy me how such distinctive human beings say Armstrong is doped. he's the most examined bicycle proprietor in specialist cycling - that they'd locate some thing finally, and given how such distinctive riders were stuck out with out finding out he'd should be a genius at protecting his tracks, LOL!

Yes! I Tivo it every day and love watching it.

Believe it or not it's almost *more* interesting without Lance. In the last few years, once Lance made his move in the mountains it was mostly over with, yet, still amazing to see his ability and athleticism.

This year, a lot of the "big" names were dismissed on blood-doping allegations. So, now it's interesting just waiting to see what's going to happen and who is going to step up.

Honestly, in the flat stages I fast-forwarded through a lot, but the mountains (where they are now) are most intriguing.

Of course some do. I've even watched a few minutes here and there on OLN and I have little interest in cycling.

There's an article here - http://www.calendarlive.com/tv/cl-sp-tvcol30jun30,0,1210280.story?coll=cl-tvent - about OLN's concerns over ratings dropping this year since Armstrong retired.

I always pay for cable one month each year, so that I can watch one particular channel.

Do you think you can name the month and channel?
