Yeah I feel your pain. I didn't lose $40 out of it because me and my friends all pitched in. We ordered Pride too (we recorded it back when it came on and watched it the same night as UFC) so we all had to fork out $12 each. The Pride open weight tournament was much better. But back to your question, it was really boring. Sylvia and Arlovski were really trying to turn their fight into a boxing match. I mean c'mon?! I don't watch UFC for the boxing. With the exception of a small few, the boxing skills in UFC are lame so I didn't like what Arlovski and Sylvia were doing. I wanted to see some grappling or atleast a knockout. Tito Ortiz and Shamrock...well, it couldn't have been much better. I already knew Ken Shamrock was going to lose but I guess it would have been more exciting if Herb Dean let Tito elbow him in the face a few more times so they could call the paramedics and have Ken sent to the hospital all on camera. Yves Edwards and Joe Stevenson was a good fight up till the point that Edwards got cut and they had to stop the fight. That was the best one in my opinion. Burkman should have wooped Neer's @ss worst than he did. And what the hell was wrong with Frank Mir?? He was like a completely different person. His fight was the worst of the entire night. I hope they got a better fight card lined up for the next UFC. I don't know about you but I think I will try and find a hooters where I can watch for free on the next one.

My husband drove all the way to folsom to watch it at his brothers house. I knew it would bite before it was on!! Like so many other pay per view fights it was a total waste. The regular UFC matches are worth more than the pay per view. Sorry about the $40 bucks

I thought it was actually pretty good. There were some very good fights, though the ones that were the headliners were fairly weak.

Herb Dean called the Ortiz/Shamrock fight too soon IMO. Sylvia and Arlovski had a drawn out fight that was nothing like their previous two fights, which were explosive.

ya, that was some bull @$# , i wish arlovski would have known he had no chance with the judges and just gone buck nutty at the end, even though I wanted sylvia to win. I hope they don't have another tito and ken, they will never let it go as long as the last one.

I disaggree, when it is real, unlike WWE crap, once in a while the fights will be not too exciting. But thats the price you pay for reality and not that made up crap
