WE get SINNING mixed up with a messed-up Spiritman.
Adam didn't Sin and GOD flowed through him till Adam committed HIGH TREASON. High Treason IS NOT just regular old sin's like drunkeness, murder, rape, being gay, stealing, lying etc.
HIGH TREASON is when you Walk away from GOD and don't want HIM no more, no way, and knowing what you are doing.
Everybody is Born on the EARTH with a messed-up Spiritman. You have to get you (a Spirit, living in a Body) RECREATED so GOD can flow through you and you can go to HEAVEN when you LEAVE EARTH for good.
Sinning dosen't send you to HELL. Leaving the EARTH for Good with out getting Recreated (Born-Again, SAVED) does. Hope this helps.

We all sin every day, we are imperfect, we may say something that we intend to do like tell a dept collector that you intend to pay a bill by a certain date but something comes up making it impossible to do so. Inadvertently you've lied, unintentionally but you still lied, these kinds of sins we continually ask for forgiveness of. Now say you know a particular act is a sin but you go ahead and do it anyway, that is willful sinning. You can still be forgiven for this sin but you must stop doing it. Only blasphemy against the holy spirit is unforgivable, and only God makes that determination. But we must do our best not to willfully sin so as not to grieve the holy spirit.

i was raised in a church... they should be saying that god forgives sins because jesus shed his blood to repent for everyone and that ANY sin will be forgiven if you ask for forgiveness after having accepted the lord as your savior. i personally think this is a load of crap! why should a mass murderer be forgiven and accepted into the same heaven as a 3 year old child that died in pure innocence? (for example)... or why should this same murderer be able to repent, then commit the same crime again, repent, etc, etc, and AGAIN be admitted into "heaven" just because he asked to be "saved"... and yet the 90 year old woman that always helped her fellow man but never went to church AND DIED without asking for forgiveness one last time go to HELL? i have a problem with these thoughts and warnings that the church preeches. if there is a god, i think he would be understanding and have unconditional love... like any father right? just my opinion for what it's worth...

Jesus did not die on the cross to forgive "some" sins. He forgives all. No one can be perfect all of the time. Even Jesus himself lost his temper in the temple and drove out the vendors with a whip. Don't sweat the small stuff. God won't.

No. Knowing that a person will be punished for willful sin is a case for repentance and humility. Maybe you don't understand the concept of which you speak or you wouldn't have asked this question.

That is for me to know, and for you to find out. Forgiving yourself is first. Basically whatever you do tells the infinite universe (god) what you believe life is really worth. So, if you realize that life is worth more...prove it. Sin is just way to simple of a concept for what is actually happening here.

Good point for all of us to keep in mind.
When we truly/sincerely repent of a sin and confess it to God, he will forgive it.
A lifestlye of habitual sin is however evidence that the repentence is not sincere (and the sins will not be forgiven).
Cordially,
John

I thought he forgives any sin as long as you repent. except a mortal sin like suicide, where you can't repent because you don't have the time.

In that case we would be perfect beings..........Whatever we do whether it's intentionally or unintentionally if we ask for forgiveness from God it is thrown in the sea of forget fullness!!!! I never read that in the bible where it says that.....we are human and we are sinners.
