IF the milk is cold you'd definitely get chunks. If you do like cold milk, then first dissolve the choc. powder using a spoon, in a tiny portion of milk that you've warmed up, then add it to the cold milk or pour the cold milk on it. Either way it's great.

Buy a better quality chocolate powder, or try heating a small amount of the milk up, add the chocolate powder and stir until it makes a slurry, or thick liquid, then add this to the cold milk.

Put the chocolate powder in FIRST.
Add just a little bit of milk and stir. This will dissolve ALL of it.
Then add the rest of the milk and stir. No more chunks.

Instead of putting chocolate powder in to the milk, put desired quantity of chocolate powder in to the plain glass and add milk little by little and stir in to paste and then add whole milk either hot or cold for uniform dissolving. I hope this may solve your problem.

put the powder in first. then put about 2 tablespoons of brewed coffee in. stir it up good. then add your milk. it doesn't change the flavor at all and it will disolve the powder a lot better than the plain milk

Put a small amount of milk in your mouth....say a tablespoon, then put some chocolate powder in your mouth. Swish around for 15 seconds. If you feel any chunks, proceed to chew until the mixture is consistent. Swallow and repeat as necessary.

I usually stir with a fork instead of a spoon and try putting the powder in the class first and then the milk and then stir with a fork or with an egg whisk.

This is happening because the milk is cold, you could try to use just a small amount of water(not hot, just room temp) and mix the powder in that, then add the milk, you won't taste the water trust me.

Just put a little milk in the powder first and mix it up well and then fill it up the rest of the way and finish mixing.
