I started college when my kids were 4 and 2. I was a single parent. It took me 5 years to finish with a B.S. in Medical Technology. Since I finished when they were fairly young, I have been able to support them with almost no help or child support from their father. I am a supervisor in a research lab now and own my own house...all because I went to college. It was NOT easy, but if you want it badly enough, you will be able to do it. Now my kids are college age and it's their turn.

Are you kidding? I'm Mormon, half of our church had 2-4 children & finished school. My friend had 4 children before starting medical school & finished. You can do it. They were actucally better students because they were more determined. My friend is doing her residency at John Hopkins. Not bad with 4 kids.
My daughter finished her degree with 3 children & is still a stay at home Mom. I just wanted her to have degree. You never know what can befall you.

My mother did and I am currently going to school to be a nurse. It is possible, you just have to be willing to sacrifice somethings and also be devoted to caring for your family and devote the time to school. My mother earned both he AA and BA while we were kids.

If you are doing it and it seems like it is taking forever, son;t stop going to school. Give yourself a pat on the back for doing it. School can only make yours and your children's lives better.

Mom's can do everything for their children, why not go to school for them too. Good Luck!

Yes, I did. I was 8 months pregnant, working full time, and got my degree. It's hard but you can do it. Hang in there, you can make it.
