If you have exhausted the possibilities in user settings, and I take it you have. I'm afraid you will have to have it serviced. If there's an issue in the tuning system, bypassing that with another input such as the S-Video if the set has one may lend a clue as to the problem if it shows color by doing such. I would encourage you to also try an off-air source such as a VCR or DVD player. Some Sanyo's have been known to have soldering or printed circuit issues. These can sometimes be easily addressed and fixed economically. But they can also cause repeat failures. You should ask the shop for an estimate for the repair, and what to expect as far as longevity of the repair.

This things use to happen when the t.v. set is close to a magnet or you were passing by the tv while was "on" with some kind of magnet. Never put a speaker close to a t.v. whlile is on. Ask your kids even your husband or wife if they did it by accident. If not, maybe the chroma is bad, or something misadjusted. It may be a lot of things, i mean, sometimes the components are not very good and they fail.
Or maybe the b&w tv in coming back, and the people is getting tired of the color tv. Maybe they want remember their old times. Relax, seat down, watch tv and start to remember your old times. Just kidding.

I play my Wii on a fifty two" widescreen. No problems. perchance he suggested that because of the fact some human beings recover from excited and finally end up tossing their remotes contained in direction of the demonstrate - the bigger the demonstrate, the bigger the objective. or perhaps he suggested that because of the fact the Wii does not have HD skill (regardless of the incontrovertible fact that the aftermarket factor cables DO make a distinction), that it would be pointless to purchase an excellent-demonstrate HD television in specific for enjoying the Wii. or perhaps he suggested that because of the fact, like various video games, a television demonstrate can get "burned" by ability of a picture if it maintains to be on the demonstrate for prolonged classes of time. the two way, i'm suprised on the salesperson - he ought to opt to sell you the super demonstrate. yet besides, i'm incredibly specific there does not be a difficulty.

is it still under warranty? do you still have the papers that came with the TV? you might check this first, if not contact the store where you purchased the TV, if no luck there, look for some help @ www.sanyo.com there might be something there that can help you, or at least maybe you can call the manufacture of your TV directly.
hope this helps:) good luck

Dont know the particular model but all or most of the chroma processing is done inside a chip. You will have to take it to a repair shop !

Re-autoprogram the channels, Also check the external inputs see if they have color. If still no color, you probably need a new 3.58MHz crystal. Pretty cheap fix.
