1. There was an orphan standing on one side of the road, he was wearing jeans a t-shirt and had curly red hair. Across the street there were 2 women, one wore a light pink dress and had long blonde hair. The other woman had workout clothing on and had short black hair. Which woman was the little boys mom?

2. There was a man that lived in an oval house, he was going to have all his friends over for lunch but when they arrived they found the man murdered. The only people in the house at the time was his wife, the maid, the butler, the gardener, and the dog. The wife said she couldn't have done it because she was out on a jog. The maid said she couldn't have done it because she was sweeping the corners. the butler said he couldn't have done it because he was making lunch. The gardener said he couldn't have done it because he was taking care of the plants. And the dog couldn't have done it... because that's self-explanatory... who killed the man?

1) Neither of the women were the little boy's mom because cause he is indicated to be an "orphan." An orphan is a person who doesn't have a mother or father.

2) The maid would be the most suspicious, since she's the one that lied. If the house is oval, then it has no corners. The maid said she was sweeping the corners, but an oval house would not have corners (so she lied). I'd be suspicious of that one.

1. The boy was an orphan so none of the women were his mother.
2. The maid killed him because an oval house has no corners.

1) The blonde, I think, because the blonde-haired gene is recessive, and the brunette gene is dominant. I think it's more likely that the woman was blonde, but I might be wrong. I get the feeling it has something to do with what they were wearing. And people are saying since he's an orphan, he has no mother, but everyone has a mother... so either his mother is somewhere else, or it's one of the two. And I say blonde.

2) The maid. Oval houses don't have corners. Wow, that was too easy.

Don't be so quick to convict the maid. The riddle only says that the house is oval. Unless this house only has one room (which is unlikely since it requires the services of a maid, a butler, and a gardener), there are going to be some intersecting walls, resulting in corners.

The wife seems the more likely suspect to me. The riddle states that she was in the house at the time of the murder, but she claims she was out jogging.

If one is an orphan, that means both parents are deceased, so there for, neither woman could be the boys' mother.

And if one lives in an oval house, with a bulter, maid, and gardener,.....and is killed, it could be any of them, but the maid is a bad liar.

for the first riddle: the boy is an orphan therefore he has no parents.so none of the women is his mom since she's probably dead.
For the second riddle, the maid was the murderer cos she was sweeping the corners and an oval house definitely has no corners.
