no honey most christian i know don't go around (thumping) their Bibles, and worship idols, in my church we have a blank white wall, no statues no crosses any where, and we dont thump anything, only the ones that people like you see, do this. We worship him and his presents is so pronounced we dont need any thing to stare at, GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU

In a round about way, I'm going to answer this question... The Bible says that there should be no other Gods beside the "one" God... However, he also supposedly gave us free will...So why would the one all knowing "true" God, be so afraid of us really looking at our world, our faith, and our thoughts? Why would he be so "afraid" of having another God looked at, that he would not allow us to question, and to seek for ourselves... I like to think that whatever God one may pray to, would be happy to know that we're using the brain and free will that we were given...not squandering it on dumb obedience, and blind faith... So to answer your question, yes I think in some ways they are...
