as a christian you believe in the existence of Satan. this does not mean that you have to like him or worship him, but you know that he exists and he is the one that tempts you.
in my opinion the same happens with the one that worship Satan. for them God is the bad character now. i do not think that they deny the existence of God. they just do not accept him as a supreme power

Not all Satanists are "devil worshippers." Many are atheists; they take the name "Satanist" the same way that "Buddhists" do: they are trying to reach their satanic nature, like buddhists want to achieve buddha nature. "Satan" was a hebrew word meaning "adversary"--if you read the OT, you'll notice that Satan doesn't go out of his way to hurt people; he tests them--and with JHVH's permission. He's kind of like JHVH's prosecuting attorney.
The ones that are what Christians would call "devil worshippers" sometimes believe in some variation of the Christian cosmology, but they tend to think the Christians have it all wrong. They look at the story of Adam & Eve, and notice that the serpent gave man *The Knowledge Of Good And Evil*--and don't we want to know the difference between good & evil? (How could anyone expect them to follow the rules when they didn't yet understand right & wrong?)
They notice that JHVH said they would die on the day they ate the fruit, and then he changed his mind. They notice that JHVH said, in Gen 3:22-23 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like Us, knowing good and bad, and now lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live for an age;
23 Therefore, the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the soil from which he was taken.
God noticed that people had gotten wisdom (or the key section of it), and threw him out of the garden before he could gain immortality as well.
Satan, in that story, didn't hurt man... unless you think people should've remained with minds like infants, unable to know good from bad, forever.

Yes, but they consider him to be insane. Traditionally, satan worship was based on the belief that god is a minor deity that was created in error by one of the real gods, but something went horribly wrong and the real gods had to lock him up in his own little 'universe'. He is insane so he really believes he is the only god and that there is nothing else outside of his little universe (think Jim Carey's "Truman Show"). Satan figured all of this out and rebelled, offering his followers the hope of appealing to the real gods and hoping they would ultimately feel responsible for the predicament of the human race and help us out. So, satan is a kind of saviour, and the first being smart and brave enough to see that god is an evil, spiteful, and imperfect being.
These ideas were developed as a way to explain the inconsistent behavior of god and the grossly imperfect nature of reality. Their contention is that imperfection could not come from perfection, and that the flawed universe could only be the creation of a flawed being...

First Jesus said you cant worship God and Satan at the same time , because light and darkness cant live to tether,, if so then Satan would still be in Heaven where he was in the begining,
It also says that the Devil knows God and his followers Know God and they tremble in his sight. But if you worship the Devil you surelly cant believe or worship God they are the complete opposit, ty

Some satanists believe in God but reject him.
Some satanists believe that Satan/Lucifer is the good guy and the Christian God is the bad guy.
Some satanists are in their religion for the sex and drugs and couldnt care less about whether satan and/or God exist or not.
Cordially,
John

who're you defining as a devil worshiper? it quite is a exceedingly vast, sweeping assertion. It you're conversing approximately Satanists, they actually don't think in the two. they only use "devil" as a hallmark that they do no longer believe in God, no longer that they DO believe interior the devil.

well satan believes in God. if you believe in satan, then you obviously believe in the spiritual realm. so i'm guessing that satan worshippers do believe in God, but for some messed up reason think that satan is more powerfull than Him

Satanism isn't really about hating God. It's really more like just doing what feels good at the time. You know, lie because it's easy or steal because it's fun. They don't really have any other motivation.
