He didn't write any books in the New Testament (At least not directly) and told the Apostles to teach all that He commanded. Are we to follow ALL the teachings of Jesus as passed down by the apostles (see 2 Thess 2:15, 1 Cor 11:2), or just the ones they wrote down (since they didn't start writing anything for decades)?

Well it's quite simple. Follow the first two, but then skip one. Then flip pages for around 10-14 and then stop, now back up 2 pages... ok don't follow that one. Follow the next three then skip five. Now you're getting it...whoops, wait...just follow the beginning of that one and the middle of that other one. Yeah, you're doing good now...oops, you followed the wrong one...start again from the beginning. Ok, now this time it's different, it's saturday.. Skip the first two then follow the third one, ok now do the first one again but follow it kinda half-***, now do the fifth one..oh wait...the sixth one...ok now forget the rest and try a religion that uses reason and doesn't cast women as 'less than men'.

The bible are life lessons. It's for all time. It;s the book of all books. Nobody needs to write something new for this moment. We have to believe that there is a god and he create everything. We has to respect each other and appreciate each other for what we are. Respect the nature, love each other. But what happens in the world people are not following gods words. Because Satan still has the power to manipulate us. God never has takes his power away. If we obey gods words, the world will be a nicer place to live.

All of the answers to any question you could ever have are in the Bible, the letters just aren't in the right order. So what you need to do is take all of the stuff in red in the Bible, cut each individual letter out, put them all in a hat, and after asking a question remove letters until you can spell an answer you like. Hope that helps as far as interpretation of the Bible goes.

because of the fact few human beings particularly comprehend the instructions or maybe examine the bible. Jews learn Torah for years till now a Bar/Bat Mitzvah and proceed to talk (wrestle with God). Christians basically have faith what the pracher tells them and hence others are difficulty to the mercy of the preacher. They dont emphasize training or tolerance becasue they coach that Jesus interior the sole thank you to heaven (particularly interprets as international to come lower back).so they decide others whilst they shouldn't.

"It is very difficult for anyone living in 2006 to say what Jesus meant in the early years of the first century of this Common Era.
First, to the best of my knowledge, Jesus left no written records and there were no tape recorders to record his words for future use. Our best estimates are that the earthly life of Jesus was lived between 4 B.C.E. and 30 C.E. He spoke Aramaic.

Matthew....wrote between 80 and 90 C.E. or 50 to 60 years after the life of Jesus. He wrote in Greek not Aramaic. So, if Jesus actually spoke [the] words that Matthew attributes to him, someone had to remember them and pass them on by word of mouth for 50-60 years, translate them from Aramaic into Greek and finally to the English words that [we] quote. If that process can be navigated successfully and literally, we might begin to answer your question......

I find those who think that a particular text in the Bible addresses a specific issue today are operating out of a very superstitious view of the Bible. It is only when the weight of the Bible is employed in a particular human arena that I think it can be legitimately used. By this shall people know that you are my disciples, that you love one another. If you say that you love God and hate your neighbor, you are a liar. Love your neighbor as yourself. Welcome the stranger, care for the weak, embrace the outcast. Jesus is even made to state his purpose in the Fourth Gospel as "I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly." These are some of the biblical texts that have cumulative power, that build a consensus and that counter the limited, mean-spirited prejudices that we human beings have used so often in the name of religion to violate the humanity of another child of God. The entire new testament. From mathew to his few quotes in the book of Revelation. But test scriptures to see if they are true. The bible even teaches this. It says plainly, test things to see if they are true, and if they are , then accept them. many have taken the bible and translated it to mean something it does not, so be careful. Test things to see if they are true, and if they are then accept them. but one thing the bible teaches that has prevailed throughout history is, is to put your faith totally in Jesus, and nothing else (i.e. good works)

If you're smart you'll just do what is right in your own heart instead of assuming all the answers are in a 2000 year old book, that may or may not be acurate at all.

Either you get into heaven by being perfect always, which is quite impossible unless you have the temple in your backyard, or you trust in God through Christ.

Seriously, Jesus will come down to your level if you are sincere. He did it for me, he will do it for you.
