Well, if you're not a virgin, there is a possibility that you may be pregnant. The easy way to find out would be to get a EPT pregnancy test from a drugstore, like Wallgreen's or Wallmart.

Otherwise, it could be normal for you. One of my friends has an odd cycle in which she gets her period every month and a half. If you are young and you're just started puberty, expect your cycles to be irregular.

If you're still confused, ask an older female relative or your doctor.

Many things could cause this. The most obvious is... are you pregnant... or should I say is there any possible way you could be, protection does not always work. If not, do you work out a lot. Women who work out a lot tend to get less periods or miss them completely. Also if you are young your timing can change, even if its been a while. This can mean something bad though, so see a doctor. Its always better to be safe then sorry. I hope it works out. God bless

If you got your first period less than two years ago and you're not sexually active, it's normal for your cycle to be irregular, skipped periods, double periods, etc.

If you're very athletic and in training, it's normal to skip periods or even stop having them while you're in training.

It could be stress.

If you've been sexually active, it could be a pregnancy.

If you're on birth control, it's normal for some women to skip periods or even stop having them.

If you're no spring chicken, it could be part of the onset of menopause.

Schedule a consultation with your primary care physician or a nurse practitioner, just to be on the safe side and to put your mind at ease. :)

if you get your period on a regular monthly basis and you skipped it go to a pharmacy asap and take a pregnancy test cause your pregnant. if it is a normal thing for you to skip ocassionally but not this long still check but you might be fine. some girls get unusual periods like me. so maybe your not pregnant . it also can be your eating habits. if your not eating correctly that will make your period hesitate a little to come.

If you're quite young - say, under 18 - it may just be your body getting used to its menstrual rhythm. Other causes are pregnancy (duh) but you would probably feel sick and have very tender breasts, weight loss (I missed many periods when I got skinny during an illness), and stress. The first thng you should do is rule out pregnancy, then, if you still don't get one next month see your Dr.
