Neither being gay, nor being sexually active or not is sinful to me. There is no definition of sin unless you create one for yourself.
Religion is a way to make you conform to another persons beliefs. In my mind, the worse "sin" is when you are not true to yourself.

No you are not. But if you have not come to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior then you need to do that. The sin of unbelief is what will condemn you to hell. At that time all your sins will be forgiven. That don't mean we can return to sin because it has been forgiven.
A person who steals is a thief. If he don't steal then he may still have the desire to do it but brings his soul in to obedience to the teachings of his Lord and Master.
When you have Jesus in you life He will give you the power to over come the evil desires of our flesh. The Holy Spirit will live in you. And with all temptation He will provide a way to escape.

Sin has nothing to do with being gay or not ...nor whether or not you have gay sex despite the lunatic claims of certain deranged religious folk.
Remember that normal is just another word for common, I would rather be exceptional wouldn't you!

According to the Catholic religion and some of the less progressive branches of Christianity, yes, you're living in sin.
It really depends on your world view and the religion (if any) you were raised in...my religion, for example, doesn't really care about your sex life. You're committing no sin at all so long as you aren't causing others anguish or pain.

If you had a choice to be gay or straight, which would you choose? Of course you would want to be "normal" God doesn't make mistakes, remember he is perfect. If you are gay, then that is what God chose for you. You obviously don't want to be gay, or think it is wrong. Live you life and be happy. It will be much worse for you to be unhappy all your life. Maybe you will be like many people and live most of your life in denial and then one day be a raging fag trying to catch up on all you have missed. Don't worry. You are not the only one.

I believe that if a person is living the lifestyle a gay person is, then it is a sin. I still love the people though.

we all live in sin if if we are saved we just had some one to take our punishment for us but we still I do any way ask for forgiveness every night. but if you are gay, or you christian, if you are but you are fighting the tempations and asking for forgiveness then you are ok, but if you not having sex but are still gay i think its the sex act, them,Jesus said if you lust in your heart you have committed the sin already. You're a sinner.
Being gay is one way people sin. There is grace for you if you turn to Christ. He is the offerer of forgiveness. You can pick any sin and apply this answer.
I too suffer from this.
To know that you need His grace is a great thing. You will still sin, and you will need His grace ( unmerited favor- a special favor that you cannot deserve ) , but that you are saved by grace through faith, that's the key to getting on God's side, by trusting that He is your salvation.
Get on with your life. If you practice homosexuality but trust in God, you will be saved.
These are the people that are sinning to death:
Romans 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Don't be one of them.
Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Trust God to keep His word.

According to the Catholic Church, no you are not. Homosexuality is not a sin. The church considers the sin to be having sex that is not open to procreation out of the context of wedlock.

you probly know that its an abominatin to the lord and it also says that if you even look at a women and lust you comit adulty
I know GOD loves you ask our father in heaven to help he will be glad to if you let him you know just because i dont have sex with my girl friend and we do other things its still sin in my heart paul in the bible talks about how its a matter of your heart
please take a look deep inside your heart if you fell it is not good
Then pray and seek what to do and if you follow jesus you have no condomnation when he saved your life at the cross he paid for your life so that means its not yours jesus said if you gain your life you will lose it but if you lose it for my sake you will have life
