I believe military.com will help but is there other site that will help me browse profiles.

Yes, Military.com has an extensive file of military personnel available for review if you become a member, if the member allows other then unit or friends to view their information and a person doesn't just flip through dozens of files....the site is monitored.
You can also review personnel branch of service, unit association and periods of service. I have my profile on the website but I have elected to have it restricted to selected search parameters. I think in this day and age you'll find most people with military background have done the same.
I'll share one other site of interest....depending on your age. That would be www.armyocs.com. Most of the profiles are of recent OCS graduates, say the last 10 years. Access to the profiles of these young officers is very restricted.
I am in there too, but I graduated a long time ago!
